Glenn has been a professional software engineer for 20 years, and is committed to writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code and mentoring others to do the same. For the last 18 years he has mostly focused on Python for backend API development (Django & FastAPI) and architecture. He has worked across the full spectrum of company sizes, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500s, in roles ranging from individual contributor to engineering lead, and has built and managed teams while continuing to write code himself. His experience spans backend services, devops, and some frontend work in various JavaScript frameworks.

He is originally from Wisconsin, where he lives now, though his career has taken him to New York, Washington D.C., and Phoenix along the way. Outside of work he enjoys traveling, reading, camping (glamping tbh), and video games.
